Help with Usetopia, your account and Usetopia Premium.
1. Contact
Write to support@usetopia.com. Tell us which device and app version you use and what happened. Never send your password, recovery key, API keys or sign-in tokens.
2. Usetopia Premium
Premium belongs to your Usetopia account, not to one device: sign in with the same account on your other devices, including the Windows and Linux versions, which do not sell it. It is sold only in the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV apps through the App Store and in the Android app through Google Play. In the app it is under Settings → General → Usetopia Premium.
- Premium missing after a purchase: sign in to the account you bought it with, open Settings → General → Usetopia Premium in the app you bought it in and choose Restore purchases. Restoring on a different Usetopia account moves Premium to that account; it does not copy it.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase: it does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
3. Managing or cancelling a subscription
Subscriptions are managed in the store where you bought them:
| Bought in | Where to manage or cancel |
| App Store on iPhone or iPad | Settings → your name → Subscriptions |
| App Store on a Mac | App Store → your name at the bottom of the sidebar → Subscriptions (Apple's guide below has every step) |
| App Store on Apple TV | Settings → Users and Accounts → Subscriptions |
| Google Play | Subscriptions in Google Play |
The stores' own guides: Cancel a subscription from Apple and Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play. Where the Premium screen shows Manage subscription, it opens the store's page.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Uninstalling the app or deleting your Usetopia account does not cancel a subscription.
4. Refunds and unexpected charges
Apple and Google take the payment and decide refunds under their terms and the law. We never see your payment details and cannot refund App Store purchases ourselves.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Our Terms of Use describe Premium in full.
5. Usetopia's free trial
Where the app offers it, Usetopia's own free trial is separate from any free trial or introductory price that the App Store or Google Play offers on a subscription; a store offer follows the store's rules and continues as a paid subscription unless you cancel it before it ends.
- It is for accounts that have never had Premium. It lasts the number of days the app shows before it starts, needs no payment details and is not a subscription: it ends by itself, nothing is charged and nothing renews.
- Each account and each device can use it once. Only the Premium screen of the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV apps or of the Android app from Google Play can start it, where they offer it; they check the device with Apple DeviceCheck or Google Play Integrity (our Privacy Policy explains how). The Windows and Linux versions cannot start it, but a running trial works there too.
- When it ends, the modules that need Premium lock again until you buy Premium. Buying Premium during the trial replaces it.
If the app says this device has already used the free trial, for example because you got the device from someone else, or if a trial does not start, write to support@usetopia.com with the kind of device and the message the app shows. If the device came from someone else, we can let your account start its free trial on it.
6. Your account
- Forgotten password: choose Forgot password when you sign in, in the app or at account.usetopia.com. With your recovery key, your synced data stays. Without it, the encrypted copy in the cloud is erased and your devices upload their data again when they sign in with the new password; data that existed only in the cloud is lost, and we cannot recover it.
- Deleting your account: in the app, open Settings → General → Account & profiles, choose Delete account and confirm with your password. In a browser, sign in at account.usetopia.com, open Account and use Delete account. This deletes your account with its encrypted cloud data, sessions and Premium state at once, and we ask RevenueCat to delete its record of your billing ID. The device you delete it on removes its local copy of the account; your other devices may keep their offline copies. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel it in the store.
7. Privacy and terms
Our Privacy Policy explains what data Usetopia handles and your rights. Our Terms of Use cover your account, the modules and Usetopia Premium.
